    THE SOUTHCOTT VOICE STUDIO  OFFERS:
       
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the studio is currently offering online zoom lessons if necessary and group lessons are suspended for the time being due to govt restrictions on the number of singers who can me

 Ages : from 8 to 80  ( for children under 10 a parent needs to attend the weekly lessons)

Costs:
Lesson fees and lesson duration (30 mins, 45 mins or 60 mins.) are based on those of the  New England Conservatorium of Music where Inge is a    Music Educator .
              
As Inge is a registered Creative Kids Provider a voucher worth $100 can be obtained from service.nsw.gov. to help defray the costs of lessons.           

The ​Principal,  Inge Southcott,  MBBS, BMUS (Voice), MMUS (Vocal Pedagogy), BFA, AMUSA (Piano) practiced as a doctor for 10 years before becoming a professional opera singer with Opera Australia. Her medical knowledge (including 5 years in psychiatric training ) and her continuing interest in the physiology and psychology of singing enables her to recognise and rectify unhealthy habits and ensures that her students develop a free and healthy technique.     Her teaching builds confidence, especially in adolescents.
Her training in the Kodaly method means she has an effective and enjoyable way of teaching her students musicianship and sight reading and composition.
Her advanced piano skills enable her to accompany in lessons and performances and produce useful backing tracks.
As a Music Educator of the New England Conservatorium of Music, her students are entitled to apply for scholarships and bursaries from the Conservatorium, and to attend master classes and workshops organised by the Conservatorium.
